Class Schedule for 2010
Next year, we’ll be having our Free English Classes on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month. It will be held at YMCA in Room 207 (Level 2) from 7-9pm.
1st Thursday: IELTS class.
3rd Thursday: Conversation class.
The IELTS class will focus on IELTS-level materials. This class is for everyone who is studying for the IELTS exam or who just wants to learn more advanced English.
The Conversation class will be focused on speaking.
The classes are FREE for all international students. Do come and make friends and practice your English.
The next class will be on the 7th of January. See you there

Free English Classes 2009 Round-up
Dear friends (students and volunteers),
Here’s a round-up of the Free English Classes for 2009. A “round-up” is a “summary of something” as defined by Macmillan Dictionary. So in this post, I’ll give a summary of what happened at the Free English Classes in 2009.
CLASSES
The first Free English Classes was on the 7th of May. Our last class for 2009 was on the 10th of December. We had a total of 32 classes (Thursdays) for 2009.
STUDENTS
Around 80 different students attended the classes during this time. They were from the following schools:
We also had some international students from Singaporean Secondary Schools and some working adults attending our classes.
TEACHERS AND VOLUNTEERS
We had around 10 English teachers who helped us teach the classes during 2009. We also had about 15 other Singaporeans who volunteered in other areas. Thanks to all the teachers and volunteers
